Children’s board: We are listening event
Jon Hassler-Hurst, Lead Paediatric Research Nurse at The Ipswich Hospital took part in a Cambridge Clinical Research Facility (CRF) event on Saturday 1 October which focused on getting young people involved in the development of their social media strategy. Jon presented on how he and the network have used social media to promote studies and engage the public.
Attendees were also taken through the CRF’s current website and asked to give their feedback on this and other initiatives from a young person’s perspective (see above). This was an excellent example of engaging with partner organisations to assist with improving communications and, in turn, recruitment to studies so well done to Jon for making the link.
