Research Facilities and Teams
All our facilities are co-located on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, which is one of the largest of its kind in Europe.
All except one of our facilities are housed together in two adjoined buildings, both of which are physically linked to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
The HLRI CRF is located in the Victor Phillip Dahdaleh Heart and Lung Research Institute, which is physically linked to Royal Papworth Hospital, and just a short walk away from the other facilities.
The close proximity of our facilities to these hospitals enables easy access for on-site researchers and for patients, who can attend additional appointments, such as imaging, on the same site.

Cambridge Clinical Research Facility (CRF) is the largest, single site NIHR CRF, in the heart of Cambridge Biomedical Campus. It is the largest centre of medical research and health science in Europe.
