Roman talks about the Artificial Pancreas
Professor Roman Hovorka was interviewed earlier this year by DigiBete – an online platform with information and educational resources for Type 1 Diabetes – to talk about the Artificial Pancreas.
The device measures blood glucose levels continuously and transmit the information to a control algorithm, which tells the pump how much insulin is required in the body.
