Our Facility

The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Cambridge Clinical Research Facility (CRF) delivers world-leading experimental medicine and early translational research to benefit patients and the public. 

Building on our 20-year track record of excellence, we are committed to extending health research participation to all communities.

Located on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, our CRF is ideally placed to collaborate with a wide variety of clinical researchers, scientists, industry and research infrastructure, to deliver a diverse range of early-phase and complex studies spanning many different clinical conditions.

We are one of over fifty CRFs networked across the UK and Ireland, supported by the UKCRF Network, giving superb access to sites, expertise and research infrastructure nationally.
