CCRC L5 nominated for team award
The NIHR Cambridge CRF L5 staff have been nominated for a Cambridge University Hospitals ‘You Made a Difference’ team award. The award aims to recognise both teams and individual staff members who have ‘made a difference’ to patients, visitors or colleagues.
The team received their nomination in June, an extract said: “A special thanks [to the team] because they’re the hidden heroes of clinical research, also I learned a lot from them and they have been my second 
home.”
Vivien Mendoza Team Leader said: “Our team work so hard to provide world-class research in Cambridge and this nomination means a lot to us, receiving it feels like we’ve already won.”
Carla Ribeiro Clinical Research Sister added: “Receiving this nomination makes us feel so appreciated for what we’re doing every single day for clinical research, and to be recognised within the Trust like this is a great honour.”
The team will find out at the end of June if they have won.
